What is the return period?

We are confident that you will love your jewelry. However, you may return your item within 30 days from the date of the original delivery.

Exchanges, replacements, or resized items do not reset or extend the original return period, as they are considered part of the same order.

Please note: Klarna (payment plan) does not support product exchanges. If you paid with Klarna and would like a different item, you may return your original order for a refund and place a new order.

What if I order wrong size?

We can exchange your jewelry for another size within 30 days of items receipt date.

How to start return or exchange process?

Will I need to pay any exchange or return fee?

In case of return:

For exchanges within the United States:

Rings: We offer one complimentary size exchange. For additional size exchanges, a $10 shipping fee applies. You are responsible for sending the original ring back to our warehouse.

Bracelets: For bracelet size exchanges, a standard $10 shipping fee applies for sending out the new size. You are responsible for returning the original bracelet to our warehouse.

For exchanges outside the United States:

Both shipping fees apply — one for returning the original item to our warehouse, and one for shipping the replacement item to your location.

What if I received damaged or wrong item?

Take a photo of parcel that you have received and send it to our email hello@japanese-melody.com with a detailed description of your case. If our mistake is confirmed, we will send you a new parcel without any additional fees. Additionally, we will ask you to return the first parcel. We will also cover return shipping fees for you.

European Union 14 day cooling off period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As it described above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging.

Refunds

Once we’ve received your return and check the integrity of the jewelry, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment. Please alllow 1-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider, but usually immediately.

Unsealed certificate fee policy

In the event a ring is returned for a refund and the accompanying "Certificate of Authenticity & Craft" has been unsealed, a fee of $25 will be applied to cover the cost of certificate replacement.
